Ottavio Bottecchia

Ottavio Bottecchia (1 August 1894 – 14 June 1927) was the first Italian winner of the Tour de France (1924 and 1925). He also became the first rider to wear the yellow jersey of leader during the whole Tour de France in 1925. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest climbers of all time.
