1946 Giro dItalia Trieste newspaper

On June 30, 1946, during the 12th stage of the Giro d’Italia, from Rovigo to Trieste, some anti-Italian activists who wanted Trieste to be part of the newly-formed Yugoslavia stopped the Giro 2km east of the village of Pieris.
