At 1,500 m asl on the slopes of Mount Cimone, in an area characterized by beech and resinous woods, there is Lake Ninfa, which is an area of tourist attraction in the summer as a starting point for excursions and in the winter season for practicing of cross-country skiing and alpine skiing.

On the top of the mountain, there is a small church, built at the beginning of the 20th century, dedicated to the Madonna delle Nevi, which is celebrated on August 5th.
