A simple demonstration showing how to fold an inner tube, from “Every Cyclist’s Handbook” published in 1936. Some things never change.
Inner tubes come folded spirally, but after you use it, it is a lot harder to re-fold it as a spiral, because you’d need to squeeze residual air out. This method is way simpler and easier.
