The Tour de France is an annual men’s multi-stage bicycle race, run mainly in France, though also passing through neighboring countries on occasion. Like the other Grand Tours (the Giro d’Italia and the Vuelta a España), it involves 21 day-long stages over a 23-day duration. It is widely considered as “the most prestigious cycling race in the world.”
