Colnago Master

The Colnago Master is one of those rare bicycles that is simultaneously a genuine historical racing machine, a piece of Italian industrial design, and a bicycle you can still buy new more than four decades after it was created. It is not merely a modern steel bike made to look retro: the current Master continues the frame family Colnago introduced at the beginning of the 1980s, still using its defining star-profile tubes, lugged construction, and steel Precisa fork.

And there is quite a lot more to its history than the usual story of “beautiful Italian steel bike with funny-shaped tubes.”

LeMond 8 Concept

Greg LeMond unveiled the LeMond 8 concept road bike. It’s US-made, and the producer claims it represents the biggest development in carbon fiber frames in 30 years! The new bicycle’s name is a reference to Greg Lemond’s 1989 Tour de France victory, when he won the race by just 8 seconds, the closest winning margin in history.

REPETE x Rap Collection

A bicycle advertising a music genre? The two Prague-based brands, Repete and Rap, collaborated creatively on a comprehensive collection of products, led by a unique edition of the Repete Reason bike, and the result is Repete x Rap. 3D stereograms, diary photos, and distinctive typographic elements make up the graphic design of this bike. The joint clothing collection, No Racing Club, includes two jersey options, accompanied by bibs and a vest, as well as casual T-shirts and bidons.

W. Ritchie, Balloon Tyres (1924) — Many people think fat-tire bike is a new invention, but it's not. W. Ritchie, a track rider was the first who built a bicycle fitted with balloon tires many years ago. The photo above is from November 1924 issue of the magazine "Cycling".

In recent years, fat tire bikes are getting quite popular. Before 2006, They were made only by custom frame-builders who liked to pedal in the snow (or sand, like beaches). Then, in 2006, a Minnesota-based bike manufacturer, Surly Bikes, mass-produced the first notable bike in the “fat” genre with its Pugsley frame. They still build a lot of fat-tire bicycle models.

Chesini Florentia MMXIII

In September 2013, UCI Road World Championships have been held in Florence (Firenze), Tuscany, Italy. Chesini wanted to celebrate this event with a limited bike series: Chesini Florentia MMXIII (MMXIII equals 2013 in Roman numerals). The artisanship of Chesini and the creativity of SAK_ART DESIGN, a known brand in industrial and lifestyle design, have come together and with a common passion created these unique bicycles. Colnago C35 equipped with Campagnolo Super Record gold: it is not only an artwork, but it is also a milestone in the history of cycling technology. It was produced in 1989, as a commemorative model created in celebration of Colnago’s 35th anniversary. Developed from the work with Ferrari Engineering, it was one of the first frames to be manufactured using a carbon fiber composite and was equipped out with a gold-plated Campagnolo Super Record groupset.
