Before the start of the Eurobike, German bicycle producer Canyon has unveiled its first 2014 models. They are all available to order now and the company says that the first bikes will be ready for delivery from September onward.

There are 8 models (7 mountain bike and 1 road bike) has been unveiled.

There are two men’s bike (Synapse Hi-Mod Black Inc and Synapse Hi-Mod Athena) and three women’s bike models (Synapse Hi-Mod Women’s 2 RED, Synapse Hi-Mod Women’s Ultegra Di2 and Synapse Hi-Mod Women’s 3 Ultegra).

Spain’s financial crisis ends the Basque team’s 19-year association with top-flight cycling. The riders and team staff were now told that they must look elsewhere.

Some high-end frames are produced in Italy, the rest in Asia and all the bikes are assembled in Italy. They have distribution in Europe, Australia, and Japan. They are the technical sponsor of the Acqua & Sapone professional Italian team, which rode the Giro d’Italia on Bottecchia SP9s in 2010 and on Bottecchia Emme 2s in 2011.

The handlebar was strategically utilized by American Greg Lemond in his 1989 Tour de France win when he beat Frenchman Laurent Fignon by nearly a minute in the 24.5 km final time trial.
