Bianchi introduces retro racing kits: the company is also beginning a three-year sponsorship agreement with L’Eroica (the non-competitive ride on Tuscany’s Strade Bianche), and revealed a new line of retro-style cycling clothing to celebrate its sponsorship. Famous Italian cycling clothing company Santini is producing the new “old” kits.
The retro jersey is made from ‘heritage wool’ and designed to imitate the style of wool clothing from some 50 years ago. It has big pockets with button closures on both the front and back, a button-fastened collar, and Bianchi logos on the sides and sleeves. The color of the jersey is the classic, beautiful “Bianchi celeste”.
The wool shorts have a pocket on the backside with button-fastening and buttons for the braces.
Santini also produced some Bianchi casual wear including a polo shirt, a sweatshirt, and T-shirts in a few styles. These will be available in different colors and of course also in “Bianchi celeste”.
The items will be available in the Bianchi store in October 2013.
