Selle Italia, the Italian manufacturer of bicycle saddles presents Flite Boost: a winning high-performance saddle, the result of thirty years of continual innovation.
In 1990, Selle Italia presented Flite and the history of saddles changed radically, paving the way in the international cycling market for the functional, ultra-lightweight accessory which would become a cult saddle among amateur and professional cyclists alike. An iconic model that has captured the hearts of the biggest names in cycling and has won victories in both Grand Tours with stages and classic races. And now, after three decades of history, the factory in Asolo launches Flite Boost, the state-of-the-art, high-performance saddle.
A saddle studied and conceived to continue a winning tradition.
Loved by great champions, such as Marco Pantani and Philippe Gilbert, the Flite saddles by Selle Italia have written the history of the Italian company which has been a symbol of quality cycling for over a century. A family of products with thirty years of history which fulfill three requirements of modern cycling: high performance, lightness, and comfort. In 2020, the family welcomes a new entry: Flite Boost, a model that meets the demands of modern-day professional and amateur cyclists.
Flite Boost has a signature short and compact shape, measuring 248 millimeters in length, recalling the classic “T” shape of all Flite saddles. A product made entirely in Italy which debuted during the 2020 Cyclo-cross World Championships on the bike of the top rider, Mathieu Van der Poel, accompanying the Dutchman to the championship win. Flite Boost retains the same elegant style of the previous models with the addition of greater comfort thanks to its compact and aerodynamic size. The saddle features the stylish revamped Selle Italia logo on the edges and the dynamic line recalling the momentum of the push on the pedals.
Selle Italia Flite Boost 2020 is available in three versions
The new Flite Boost is available in three versions – with the rail in Kit Carbonio, TI316, or Manganese (TM) – and in the 4 classic idmatch sizes: S1/L1 (without central hole) and S3/L3 with Superflow central hole. Flite Boost is also a lightweight saddle: the Kit Carbonio Superflow (S3) version weighs just 157 grams while the version without the central hole (S1) weighs 162 grams and so on, gradually increasing to the version with the Manganese rail (TM) which weighs 243 grams in the L1 idmatch size.

A top-class, elegant, high-performance product that promises to continue the tradition of a long line of successes.
