100% Carbon-Fiber frame designed, built, and painted in Italy. The weight of the frame is approx. 1000 grams. It features an internally ribbed top tube that shaped similar to the iconic Colnago Master frame. Colnago claims that the frame efficiency is increased by the use of specific square section chainstays and seat stays.
Two versions of C59 Italia are available: One for electronic shifting systems (Shimano Di2 or Campagnolo EPS), and one for traditional mechanical shifting systems.
Tour de France 2012 edition was a bright tour for Colnago C59: Team Europcar won 3 stages using C59, one stage for Pierre Rolland, and two stages for Thomas Voeckler. Voeckler also won the King of The Mountains’ Polka dot jersey.
