The British blood cancer charity Cure Leukaemia is delighted to announce that Santini will become the Official Kit Supplier for “The Tour 21” this year. The three-year partnership means that Cure Leukaemia’s major cycling event, The Tour 21, which will see amateur cyclists take on all 21 stages of the Tour de France route one week ahead of the professional event, will be kitted out in the latest high-tech cycling wear for the grueling challenge.
In 2022, the Granfondo Stelvio Santini turns 10 and is celebrating that major milestone with a special jersey dedicated to a decade that saw its participant numbers and emotional impact burgeon. Irishman Fergus Niland, Santini’s Creative Director, has created a new graphic in which the number 10 replaces the last two letters in the word Stelvio to underscore the significance of this edition. This is a sustainable jersey too as it comprises two Polartec fabrics made from recycled PET bottles.
All participants will be asked to wear the special new jersey throughout the race so that they can all celebrate this 10th outing for the Granfondo Stelvio Santini together.
Santini will provide cycling wear for northern classics in the 2022 season: Santini Cycling Wear and A.S.O. (Amaury Sport Organisation) are delighted to announce that from 2022, their partnership will extend beyond the Tour de France Yellow Jersey towards A.S.O.’s other prestigious events Paris-Roubaix, Flèche Wallonne, Liège-Bastogne-Liège and Paris-Tours. Santini will also be partner of Paris-Roubaix Femmes, Flèche Wallonne Femmes and Liège-Bastogne-Liège Femmes.
One of the first projects to stem from this partnership expansion is a cycling wear collection for each of the four Northern European classics, to be unveiled by Santini in the New Year.
The partnership between Santini and US-based UCI WorldTeam Trek-Segafredo is celebrating its fifth year. Now the Italian cycling wear company reveals the new kits made from recycled fabrics that will dress the men and women of the team both in competition and training for the coming cycling season. Santini is supplying Trek-Segafredo with a complete wardrobe to tackle all four seasons and different weather conditions. Both men’s and women’s kits and accessories will be identical in quantity and technical spec.
Santini presents the Trionfo kit, the first in a series designed by the company to highlight the standout stages of the 2022 Tour de France. And it has started with the final stage: the glorious finish-line-bound dash down the Champs Élysées and an homage to French grandeur.
