Santini presents the Trionfo kit, the first in a series designed by the company to highlight the standout stages of the 2022 Tour de France. And it has started with the final stage: the glorious finish-line-bound dash down the Champs Élysées and an homage to French grandeur.
Santini’s Trionfo kit encapsulates the magic of the traditional final stage of the Tour de France
A kit that encapsulates the magic of the traditional final stage of the Tour de France: Santini’s Trionfo kit is dedicated to Paris and the huge sense of celebration that engulfs the winner of the Grand Boucle as they are applauded towards the finish line and beyond. Every year, the riders are welcomed to the Champs Élysées finish line by a spectacular exhibition by La Patrouille de France, the French Air Force’s aerobatics team, which traces the blue, white, and red of the French flag in the skies over the City of Light.
Those colorful wakes left behind by the planes are now also the stars of the design of the Santini Trionfo jersey, featuring on both its front and back where they taper and fade just like the real thing.
The jersey is part of a kit comprising a base layer, bib shorts, gloves, cap, and socks, all with that blue, red and white motif and the profile of the Arc de Triomphe.
From a technical point of view, the jersey, which has raw cut sleeves, is slim fit and made from a combination of micromesh fabrics. The base layer is made from breathable Avatar micromesh, which feels ultralight on the skin and is slightly longer at the back.
The bibshorts, on the other hand, are in Thunderbike Power compression fabric with grippers on the leg-ends to hold them gently but firmly in place even for the longest stretches in the saddle. They also include the GITevo pad with a gel core to absorb impact gradually for maximum comfort hour after hour.
A total look is guaranteed by a coordinating cap, socks, and gloves.

About Santini Cycling Wear
Santini Cycling Wear was founded in 1965 by Pietro Santini who spotted a market for technical cycling clothing as a result of his abiding passion for the sport and competition. In what would seem like a revolutionary and contrarian choice today, the Bergamo-based company made the pivotal decision to design and manufacture all of its products exclusively in Italy. Each item is designed and developed by a design team with a deep-rooted passion for the two-wheel world to meet four key requirements: fit, performance, comfort, and durability.
Santini currently produces 5,000 items of clothing per day and exports 80% of its output. It is deeply committed to ongoing investment in researching and developing innovative textiles and new production methods. However, people – athletes – remain its central focus as it continues to refine its creations to allow cyclists to pursue their sporting passions in a comfortable but inimitably stylish kit.
