Santini Paris-Roubaix Collection 2022: Santini is celebrating the Paris-Roubaix, one of the five Great Classics, with two special collections. One collection contains a jersey and a technical t-shirt, for both men and women, inspired by the colors and patterns used to mark out the cobblestone sectors along the route. The L’Enfer du Nord capsule collection, however, features fiery colors in a nod to the Hell of the North. The jerseys and technical t-shirts of both collections are combined with bibshorts, baselayer, jacket, vest, and accessories.

The Paris-Roubaix Femmes avec Zwift takes place on Saturday, April 16th this year, with the men’s race, the 119th edition of the Paris-Roubaix, starting the following day. Santini is launching two new ranges inspired by the race: the Paris-Roubaix line and the L’Enfer du Nord capsule collection.

In the Paris-Roubaix range, the graphics in both the men’s and women’s jerseys and technical t-shirts are inspired by the colors and patterns used on the race route to mark out the cobbled sectors and rate their difficulty.

Santini has also created a capsule collection called L’Enfer du Nord (the Hell of the North). Here the colors are inspired by the fires of hell – and the hellishly difficult stretches that the cyclists face into in the very toughest five-start sectors.

“Red and black dominate the collection”, commented Fergus Niland, Santini’s creative director, “as does the cobblestone pattern which features on all the pieces”.

The perfect combination with both the Paris-Roubaix and L’Enfer du Nord jerseys and technical t-shirts are bibshorts and base layers, in a choice of men’s and women’s, a vest, a jacket, and various other accessories.

The jacket is made with Polartec® NeoShell, the world’s most breathable waterproof fabric technology.
For years the outerwear industry has prioritized excessively high waterproof ratings that sacrifice the breathable performance needed during physical activity. NeoShell® provides the strength and durability of a weather protective fabric, while still allowing dynamic air exchange and a comfortable full range of motion.

By engineering optimal pore size and placement, NeoShell® releases heat and perspiration without high-pressure build-up. Continuous air exchange enhances natural thermoregulation, while still providing the needed protection from all outside elements.

The new Paris-Roubaix collection was created as part of Santini’s agreements with A.S.O., enriching a partnership that also spans supplying the leader jerseys for the Tour de France and capsule collections for all of the races on the A.S.O. circuit.

Santini Paris-Roubaix 2022 collection will be available from the Santini website from 11th March as well as from select cycling stores worldwide.

About Santini Cycling Wear

Santini Cycling Wear was founded in 1965 by Pietro Santini who spotted a market for technical cycling clothing as a result of his abiding passion for the sport and competition. In what would seem like a revolutionary and contrarian choice today, the Bergamo-based company made the pivotal decision to design and manufacture all of its products exclusively in Italy. Each item is designed and developed by a design team with a deep-rooted passion for the two-wheel world to meet four key requirements: fit, performance, comfort, and durability.

Santini currently produces 5,000 items of clothing per day and exports 80% of its output. It is deeply committed to ongoing investment in researching and developing innovative textiles and new production methods. However, people (athletes) remain its central focus as it continues to refine its creations to allow cyclists to pursue their sporting passions in a comfortable but inimitably stylish kit.
