Santini’s Premium Custom Clothing line is growing in 2021 to include exciting new kits and accessories for cycling, indoor cycling, triathlon, and the whole off-road biking world. An increasingly broad-ranging choice of kit tested and approved by pro athletes – a real guarantee of superb quality and technical performance for amateur riders!
The Premium Custom Clothing motto: made by us, personalized for you, tested by professionals.
Santini Premium Custom Clothing line is more exciting than ever with a whole new array of additions coming for 2021: Santini Cycling Wear will be providing bespoke passion dressing, thanks to input from cycling and triathlon pro athletes that have worked hand-in-glove with the brand’s designers to make the highest quality sportswear available to enthusiasts of all kinds.
The entire collection was developed with and tested on elite athletes. The Trek-Segafredo Team, the Italian National Team, pro triathletes like Timothy O’Donnell, Gustav Iden, Mirinda Carfrae, and Helle Frederiksen to name but a few all provided the invaluable feedback that Santini needed to create a highly technical range that also meets the needs of amateur athletes. Made by us, personalized for you, tested by professionals is the philosophy that underpins the new Custom line.
The collection spans new cycling, off-road and triathlon wear. In the cycling section, there is even a new range of indoor cycling gear. Each line includes both men’s and women’s clothing and covers every season: from halfway seasons to pouring rain, blistering heat and extreme cold.
Santini Premium Custom Clothing new additions
Filo jersey
One of the most striking new additions from Cycling Custom is the men’s Filo jersey, which is ultralight yet suitable for an extremely wide temperature range of +18°C (64.4°F) to +40°C (104°F). The front is made from elasticated Think Opaco while the back and sides are made from an exceptionally breathable fabric. This slim-fit jersey has a covered zip and low collar as well as reflective detailing on the back.
Indoor capsule collection and Forza shorts
Completely new to the Custom range is the indoor capsule collection. The top of the range men’s kit comprises Forza shorts. The latter is made from innovative fabrics that boost sweat evaporation and encourage cooling, thanks in part to perforated Lycra inserts. They also include the C3 chamois pad with an ergonomic 3D surface with different densities for complete comfort. The technical jersey is made from Polartec© Delta recycled fabric which acts as a cooling system by facilitating the transfer of heat away from the body and efficiently managing sweat.
Off-road cycling: Comfort-fit Bosco jersey
In the Off-road section, the big news is the comfort-fit Bosco jersey, made from a light, stretch fabric called Think Opaco, with a two-stitch hem at the wrists and a double zip pocket at the back. It coordinates with the Selva shorts in a stretch, anti-abrasion fabric with water-repellent and anti-dirt treatments. A Velcro waistband closure makes for quick, easy adjustment. These shorts are designed to be worn with liner shorts with a chamois pad.
Viper Aero tri suit
The new Viper Aero tri suit raises the game in the triathlon section as it is used by all Santini’s long-distance pro triathletes. Wind tunnel-tested, it is made from a combination of two different fabrics: light, cooling Artico with UPF50+ protection and Swan Warp for the sleeves.
The chamois pad area next to the saddle is made from a grippy fabric that helps the rider hold their position. This is a tri suit for long and medium distances and has already proved a favorite with reigning IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion Gustav Iden.

About Santini Cycling Wear
Santini Cycling Wear was founded in 1965 by Pietro Santini who spotted a market for technical cycling clothing as a result of his abiding passion for the sport and competition. In what would seem like a revolutionary and contrarian choice today, the Bergamo-based company made the pivotal decision to design and manufacture all of its products exclusively in Italy. Each item is designed and developed by a designer team with deep-rooted passion for the two-wheel world to meet four key requirements: fit, performance, comfort and durability.
Santini currently produces 3,500 items of clothing per day and exports 80% of its output. It is deeply committed to ongoing investment in researching and developing innovative textiles and new production methods. However, people – athletes – remain its central focus as it continues to refine its creations to allow cyclists to pursue their sporting passions in a comfortable but inimitably stylish kit (www.santinicycling.com)
