Vuelta a España 2013 stage 3 is a flat stage between Vigo and Mirador de Lobeira. The length of the course is 184.8 km. The stage is listed as plain, but it ends with a short but steep uphill, so it’s suitable for the puncheurs.
Vuelta a España 2013 Stage 2 is a mountain stage with summit finish from Pontevedra to Alto da Groba. It is the first summit finish of this year’s Vuelta. The length of the course is 177.7 km.
The opening stage, Vuelta a España 2013 stage 1 is a Team Time Trial (TTT) stage from Vilanova de Arousa to Sanxenxo. The length of the completely flat course is 27.4 km.

Vuelta a España 2013 edition will start in Vilanova de Arousa on August 24th, Saturday, and finish in Madrid on September 15th, Sunday. The race will start with a Team Time Trial and has 11 summit finishes this year, one more than in 2012. One of the summit finishes is at Peyragudes (in France). And the Angliru will be scene of the deciding stage.

SuperSix has the same frame design as Cannondale’s pro-level road bike SuperSix Evo: same hourglass seat stays, same BeatBox BB cluster. The only difference is a slightly different carbon layup, according to Cannondale. So with SuperSix, you can buy the grand-tour winner geometry of SuperSix Evo with less price.
Andrea Sandrino Carrea, Fausto Coppi‘s last “gregario” (domestique) has died aged 88. He was the first cyclist to ride the Alpe d’Huez in the yellow jersey of leadership in the Tour de France and probably the only rider to have wept in distress at accidentally leading the race.
Team Garmin-Sharp 2013 kit has been unveiled today. The kit is produced by the team’s technical clothing supplier Castelli, which will be seen publicly for the first time at the Tour Down Under.
SuperSix Evo Nano and SuperSix Evo are high-end bikes produced by American bicycle manufacturer Cannondale. The Evo Nano won EuroBike 2012 Gold Award last August. Cannondale SuperSix Evo 2013 is coming with seven different builds (see below).
In 2011, Cannondale won EuroBike 2012 Gold Award with the SuperSix EVO Hi-MOD, and this year Cannondale won the award for the second consecutive year with the new (2013) EVO Black edition. Team Colombia unveiled the new bikes they will ride in the 2013 season. Italian bike manufacturer Wilier Triestina will equip the Escarabajos (see notes 1) in 2013 with its top-range racing model: Wilier Triestina Zero7.
Previously, it is announced that Wilier Triestina would no longer be the bike supplier to Italian team Lampre, from the beginning of the 2013 season. The Italian bicycle manufacturer was supplying bikes to the team for 10 years. The Italian team will use Merida bikes in the 2013 cycling season.
Paul Kimmage, journalist and former pro cyclist, has doubts about Bradley Wiggins and Team Sky, suggests that their dominance at Tour de France 2012 is suspicious.
Previously, during the Tour de France in July, Kimmage has said that he believes Team Sky was not as transparent as they promised when the team was founded. He had added that: “People ask me how I feel about Wiggins leading the Tour de France – I don’t know, I can’t answer the question. When asked about doping, the answers from Wiggins now sound the same as with Armstrong and Floyd.”
