Giro d’Italia 2014 stage 16 is a 139 km high mountain stage from Ponte di Legno to Val Martello (Martelltal). It is this year’s Cima Coppi stage (see notes 1).

Giro d’Italia 2014 stage 15 is a 225 km high mountain stage from Valdengo to Plan di Montecampione. The route is mostly flat until the 205.7th km, then the climb starts and the stage finishes atop 1665-meter-high Plan di Montecampione.
Giro d’Italia 2014 stage 14 is a 164 km high mountain stage from Agliè to Oropa. The route contains 1099-meter-high Alpe Noveis and 1482-meter-high Bielmonte climbs. The stage has an uphill finish atop 1142-meter-high Biella.
Giro d’Italia 2014 stage 13 is a 157 km flat stage from Fossano to Rivarolo Canavese.
Giro d’Italia 2014 stage 12 is a 41.9 km Individual Time Trial (ITT) from Barbaresco to Barolo. Both Barbaresco and Barolo comunes are famous for their vineyards.
Giro d’Italia 2014 stage 11 is a 249 km medium mountain stage from Collecchio to Savona. It is the longest stage of this years’ Giro d’Italia.
Giro d’Italia 2014 stage 10 is a 173 km flat stage from Modena to Salsomaggiore Terme.
Giro d’Italia 2014 stage 9 is a 172 km medium mountain stage from Lugo to Sestola.
Giro d’Italia 2014 stage 8 is a 179 km medium mountain stage from Foligno to Montecopiolo. The route also contains the 1358-meter-high Cippo di Carpegna climb.
Giro d’Italia 2014 stage 7 is a 211 km flat stage from Frosinone to Foligno. At the 172.5th km of the race, the 646-meter high Valica Della Somma climb will be a real challenge for the sprinters.
