Efneo launches 3-gear front gearbox

Many cyclists, especially commuters will love this: Efneo Gearbox is a front gearing system that has one cog and three internal switches. Inspired by internally geared rear hubs, it replaces a bike’s front derailleur, probably the most disliked part of bicycles.

Switching the chain between the chainrings in the crankset is an arduous process, and there’s always some risk to drop the chain, especially if the drivetrain is not in perfect condition. Efneo gearbox aims to make things more effortless, quicker, and smooth while switching the front gear.

Pinarello Dogma 65.1 2015

Until last year, Pinarello Dogma 65.1 was the admiral ship of the Italian bike manufacturer. This year Pinarello Dogma F8 is carrying the flag. But still, Pinarello Dogma 65.1 2015 models are really high-quality road bikes.

Dogma 65.1 already has two Tour de France titles in its palmarès: Team Sky riders Sir Bradley Wiggins in 2012, and Chris Froome in 2013 won the Tour with Dogma 65.1 bikes. It also won the 2013 UCI Road World Championships Elite Men Road Race title with Portugal’s Rui Costa and more than 100 Pro Tour races.

Cannondale CAAD8 2015

Cannondale CAAD8 2015 is a good entry-level racing geometry road bike. If you want to enter the road biking world, but don’t want to spend a lot of money, this is a really good option. Tubes inspired by its CAAD10 sibling, a lightweight frame (Cannondale claims it’s the lightest in its class), with more forgiving Heads-Up Race geometry, Cannondale CAAD8 may be your best option.

Cannondale CAAD10 2015

“Lighter, stiffer, and smoother than many elite carbon frames”. This is the slogan of the Cannondale CAAD10 2015, the new model of the American bicycle manufacturer’s most popular aluminum frame series. CAAD10 is lightweight, stiff, and fast. Its EVO-like geometry gives you razor-sharp cornering and aggressive race positioning.

For the first time ever, this year also two disc-brake build options are available.

Cannondale is producing award-winning CAAD (Cannondale Advanced Aluminum Design) series of road bikes since 1983. It is the first United States-based bicycle producer to supply frames under its own name to a European professional team (Saeco). Saeco was a top-level European team, with the world’s fastest sprinter Mario Cipollini on the squad. Cipollini raced an “R4000” model (CAAD3) in the 1997 season.

Vittoria Zaffiro 700x23c Clincher Road Tires (review)

I started using my second pair of Vittoria Zaffiro 700x23c clincher road tires, so I decided to write a review.

I use Vittoria Zaffiro’s as a training tire (usually in winter). They are not suitable to use in the races, since they are a bit heavy (340 grams) and have a bad rolling resistance.
