Colnago-Ferrari CF8

Colnago-Ferrari CF8 edition is equipped with Campagnolo’s electronic groupset Campagnolo Super Record EPS. It also has a new red and white look and will be produced in a limited edition of 200 pieces.

The 2012 edition of Colnago-Ferrari CF8 was equipped with Shimano’s high-end electronic groupset Dura-Ace Di2. After Italian bicycle components manufacturer Campagnolo has revealed its EPS electronic shifting system, CF8 started being equipped with the new groupset.

Graeme Obree’s first test run with “the Beastie” – the land speed record vehicle

Graeme Obree (see notes 1), “The Flying Scotsman” is working on a plan to attempt the human-powered land speed record in a machine of his own design for a while. Last week, he tested the vehicle, “Beastie”, in preparation to break the human-powered land speed record.

On the development of a shell for “the Beastie” (see notes 2), Obree has been working with a team of Product Design Engineering students at the Glasgow School of Art. He did his first test run in the Beastie last week, on Thursday 15th November at Machrihanish airport in Scotland. Vision wheels is the choice of Cannondale Pro Cycling Team for 2013

Cannondale Pro Cycling Team (currently Liquigas-Cannondale) will move to Vision as its exclusive wheel sponsor for the 2013 season.

Vision is a USA-based bicycle components manufacturer. WorldTour teams Lampre-ISD (going under the name of Lampre-Merida in 2013 season), Euskaltel-Euskadi, and Vacansoleil-DCM also using Vision components as well as some other pro-continental and continental teams.

Specialized Roubaix 2013

Specialized Roubaix 2013: named after Paris-Roubaix, “the queen of the classics”, the famous classic race over the cobbles, Specialized’s endurance bike was designed to soak up the worst of the bumps through its innovative Zerts inserts.

The Zerts are essentially a damper placed in the rear stays and the forks that absorb road vibration. Specialized Roubaix is specifically designed for the cobbled classics in Europe and is good for bad road surfaces, cobbled roads, and long-distance endurance rides (i.e. century rides).
