Another Women’s cycling team is presented: Servetto-Footon. The Italian based team is a four-year project, means the sponsorship will continue until the end of 2016.
The team contains ten athletes total. The athletes are: Alessia Aimone Secat, Simona Bortolotti, Veronica Cornolti, Corinna Defile, Isabella Ferrari, Marina Lari, Marta Manitto, Giorgia Nanni, Maria Cristina Nisi and Roberta Tasca.

The Wiggle-Honda Pro Cycling Team is one of 33 UCI Women’s Teams for the 2013 season. and contains 12 riders in total. It is announced that in its debut season, the team will focus on results in the Classics and sprint-style racing.

Paul Kimmage, journalist and former pro cyclist, has doubts about Bradley Wiggins and Team Sky, suggests that their dominance at Tour de France 2012 is suspicious.
Previously, during the Tour de France in July, Kimmage has said that he believes Team Sky was not as transparent as they promised when the team was founded. He had added that: “People ask me how I feel about Wiggins leading the Tour de France – I don’t know, I can’t answer the question. When asked about doping, the answers from Wiggins now sound the same as with Armstrong and Floyd.”
